I have a proven record of building and scaling global engineering organizations, delivering secure and reliable products, and leading companies through successful outcomes including public listings and acquisitions.
An alumnus of IIT Bombay (Class of 1987), I’ve founded multiple technology companies and held senior leadership roles across enterprise software, security, and education technology organizations.

Graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science.
Completed Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Co-founded ValiCert and led core product architecture. Took the company public (IPO). Developed high-performance systems and contributed to OCSP and SCVP protocols at the IETF. Worked with major global institutions including banks and government agencies.
Built products to identify vulnerabilities in SaaS applications. Scaled engineering teams across geographies and modernized legacy platforms for reliability and extensibility.

Led engineering, DevOps, IT, security, and data teams for a platform supporting over 100 million users globally. Built a COPPA-compliant, multi-tenant platform on AWS. Reduced infrastructure costs by 70% and downtime from ~2% to under 0.1%. Expanded teams across US, India, China, and Costa Rica.
Led large-scale engineering initiatives for one of the world's largest enterprise software platforms. Solved complex engineering challenges across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
